Does It Matter Which Day I Worship God? David Field September 5, 2010
Is your preacher telling you the truth? How would you know unless you ask God for yourself? You say you checked it out in your bible. But that is no true test because many reading the same bible, read opposite conclusions. What makes you special? You may say you listen to the Holy Spirit, or you let the Holy Spirit guide you. If you are going against the Word of God, you are not led by the Holy Spirit of God. Don’t mistake a good and comfortable feeling with the Holy Spirit. That is your own emotions talking.
The fact is your preacher is just another man like you. Yes, he has most likely gone to school to be a preacher. But who taught him? And yes, he may be ordained minister, but who ordained him? The answer to both of these questions is, other men, who also don’t listen to God really. These are the traditions of men only.
You say your preacher seems so sincere. So was the snake when he convinced Eve that the fruit was all right for eating. How dare I compare your preacher to a snake! I didn’t say he was a snake, but he is sincere because he honestly believes the things he has learned from other men, and he believes what his understanding gleans from the bible, just like most of you in church.
But your preacher is no better than the snake if he tells you the lies the snake told. The snake told Eve that it didn’t matter about eating the fruit from this particular tree. The act of eating fruit, how can that be bad? Why did God put the tree there anyway? Was it just to tempt us? Don’t worry about why God does what He does. Your part is to obey. That tree was the only test God gave man at the time. All Adam had to do was to stay away from that one tree.
Today there is a similar test that most Christians are failing. Just like it mattered from which tree not to eat of in the garden, it matters which day to worship God. Why is God so picky? Again, yours is not to question why. You say it doesn’t matter which day, as long as we do worship Him. God doesn’t see it this way.
Yahweh God wrote the Ten Commandments with his own finger, and in stone for permanence. Let no man come behind Him and change that, not Paul, or how you read Paul, and not anyone. God never sends anyone out to nullify His words. His Son, Jesus the Christ did not do that. Jesus observed the Sabbath as the seventh day of the week, and so did Paul, as did the early church. Actions should speak louder than words, but Christians hear what they want to hear, because it is easier to go with the flow. Jesus said, narrow is the way.
You are partaking in things offered to Baal, false gods, when you partake in pagan worship rituals. This includes the sun-day worship. Saying you are doing it in the name of God makes no difference to Him. You cannot disobey in His name, and call it obedience. That is blasphemy. Satan got his workers to change the day of worship for Christians to ensnare them into false worship and it is working very well. Sunday was so named for the worship of the sun god, who is Lucifer. So going to church on Sunday is actually obeying Lucifer, and he is proud of it. He will take your worship however he can get, and lies are his way. He seeks to exalt himself above Yahweh God, and attaining the worship of God’s creation is how he is doing it.
Come out of Babylon, the false church run by Satan, the father of all lies. Or stay comfortable, until that final hour when you stand before the judgment throne of God, and Jesus says, “depart from me, I never knew you”. Many preachers will be there with you. And many will be surprised because they thought they were saved. This is why they will argue with Jesus saying, “but we did many great things in your name.” Did you really? You never listened to me. You never did what I said to do. We never had an intimate relationship. I never “knew” (had contact) with you. You followed the traditions of men, for your own comfort’s sake, while I died a horrible and painful death on the cross for you. I humiliated myself in front of the entire world for you, and you followed Baal, not me. You didn’t bother to search My Word in earnest, and you didn’t want to hear what I had to say, nor did you heed the words of my true prophets. Instead you listened to the words for itching ears of the wolves in sheep’s clothing.
