YHWH has a people left on earth, called the remnant of Israel in scripture. There are two women spoken of in the Revelation. A woman is a religious group of people, to be married to a god. The whore, and the bride of the Messiah. This remnant is the only bride and have two identifying characteristics. These two characteristics can be found in the Revelation.
Revelation 12:17 (KJV) And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
Revelation 14:12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
Since the New Testament has been translated from Aramaic to Greek to Latin to Old English, then covered up with false teachings, and few study Hebrew for the true understanding, the meaning of these verses have been long since forgotten. Yes, the bible is a collection of Hebrew writings, recorded by a Hebrew people, how be it from the Elohim of the Hebrew people. The gospel is not being spread by Christianity as Christianity claims. It isn't even known what the gospel is; the gospel of what? Christians would answer the gospel of Jesus Christ. What is the gospel of Jesus Christ? What was his gospel? What did he come to say?
As I was raised in Christianity and was among them for years, the standard answer of what the gospel is in Christianity is: If you confess the name of Jesus Christ as your savior then you will be granted everlasting life. That's it, and that is all that was presented to me upon so called "conversion", or "salvation", and that is all that is taught on the subject. As for keeping the commandments of God, that goes mostly undefined, so you just try to do right according to what you think is right. This is not being governed by YHWH, rather just doing right in one's own eyes. Or if it is defined, it is defined as the two love commandments from Yahshua, love god and love your fellow man.
But then the word love, as it was originally written in Aramaic is also not defined, so westerners default to the Greek notion that love is an emotional feeling. So they just proclaim with their mouth that they "love", never putting any real action behind it, other than trying to act polite. Politeness is not love. And it is evident that it is just an act, when the insincerity shows, has cracks all in it, by a quickness to self defense, and self justification, and sometimes outright anger with retaliation, when confronted with the truth.
Here is the Gospel of Yahshua the Messiah from Nazareth for those interested. John 1 says Yahshua is the Word, meaning the Word of YHWH. His word has always been the Torah, as first recorded by Moses. He gave his word, his covenant to Moses to give to His people, and His Word never changes. His Word will not come back void, it will always do what it set out to do. His Word never fails to be replaced with another or better Word. Christians have scripture to argue against this statement, but the scripture they will use is a mistranslation and a misunderstanding, because His word is perfect and unchanging.
Love is defined as the action required to the betterment of the recipient of that love. Faith is also an action word meaning to faithfully do as instructed. Love is not empty emotion. That is the flesh only, part of your human neurological makeup. The flesh dies, your emotion dies. Love does not die. Faith is not just believing. Faith is going forward on that belief.
With that in mind, and since the word for commandments, or law in English language was Torah in Aramaic and Hebrew, here is a closer understanding to the original of the verses presented.
Revelation 12 17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the Torah of YHWH, and keep the covenant of Yahshua Messiah.
Revelation 14 12 Here is the patience of the remnant: they that keep the Torah of YHWH, and walk according to the teaching of Yahshua.
The covenant Yahshua brought is the same covenant to be renewed on the hearts of believers. This is the better covenant, to write His Word not only in stone, or on paper, but on the heart, meaning on the desire, on the will, on your very essence. Repeatedly Yahshua said he came to do the will of the father, and to repeat his Fathers words, defined as Torah. While on the earth, Yahshua was the walking, talking, breathing Torah, The Word of Yah.
John 4:34 Yahshua saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.
John 6:38 For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.
John 12:44 Yahshua cried and said, He that believeth on me, believeth not on me, but on him that sent me.
John 5:43 I am come in my Father's name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive.
