Dividing The Body Of Christ David Field May 30, 2010
This is written for those worried about “dividing the body of Christ”, or the concept of anyone being an “accuser of the brethren”. This will be short because this issue has been previously addressed in other articles, but this writing explains the issue from another perspective.
Many have been accused of being an accuser of the brethren, wrongly. Christians are more concerned about maintaining meekness, than fighting the good fight. They are afraid to step out in faith, for fear of retaliation, or the fear of being wrong. It is safer and better to keep quiet if one is not absolutely sure, but Christians need to recognize where the voice is coming from. Satan wants you stop accusing his hoards; his wolves in sheep’s clothing.
People worried about dividing the body of Christ, are those concerned with keeping the status quo. Preachers do not want to loose any of their congregation, or have any division in the church because it hinders their goal of building a kingdom here on earth in their local church. These preachers will refuse to try to lead their congregation into new truths knowing that anything new will not be well received. It is better to just stay with what they are calling “the good ol’ gospel”. So they refuse to see any new revelation, or truth. These churches claim they have it all figured out, and admit no error.
I choose to follow Jesus at his determined pace. Those that are his will keep up and follow him. Those that follow self will find their own path. I am not excluding anyone, I am just moving along. Jesus is leading his true church into new revelation daily. Those that refuse to come along will be left behind, literally. No one here on earth knows it all as yet. This life is a proving ground. Jesus wants to see who will leave themselves, and their comfort zone, and their predetermined falsehoods behind and follow him, at any and all costs.
Matthew 24:13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
You are not saved yet, until you endure to the end.
