_A Basic Concept

Who are you, what are you? Are you a body, are you a brain? What is
the essence if you?
The Messiah said in Matthew 24:13, "He who endures to the end [with me], shall be saved [and with me]". There is no magical moment of salvation here on earth. Salvation is at the end, if you believe in the bible. The bible teaches Salvation is when you are brought into eternal life, and that no man/woman alive as yet possesses eternal life. We are all mortals, meaning without eternal life. The Apostle Paul wrote in Romans 6:23, "The wages of sin is death (not life everlasting in torment), but the gift of YHWH is eternal life [with him], made possible by the Messiah Yahshua”. When your body dies, you are gone, and non-existent because you do not possess life everlasting. You exist only in the flesh as of now. Your soul is not everlasting. Without the creator and his created universe, you have no place that will support your life, so without him, you cease to exist.
It is said that man is made of three parts, mind, body, and soul. So which is the real you? What is a soul? Some say the soul is the eternal part, but we've already established that the bible says mortals possess no eternal part. So can your soul be described as your mind, will, and emotions? We think our mind is in control, but our Emotions seem to run us most of the time, but we know that emotions are not reality. I have found it is our WILL that is truly in control. What ever we DECIDE with our WILL, that is what we believe, regardless of logic. Logic cannot break through our Will. Will rules your life. Every being that has life has a will, a single will.
Once you understand this basic concept of life, you'll know that YHWH the father, and the son are not the same identity, not one in the same personage, but of one mindset, or in agreement, as the bible teaches. The Messiah prayed at the garden to the father, "Not my will but your will be done." He was surrendering his will to the father, because he knew that the father's will and plan was better, or above his own.
