Call Yourself Christian?
David Field April 19, 2011
You call yourself Christian, but do I, Yahshua, the Savior, the Messiah?
You call yourself one of mine, but do I? You say you follow me, but do you? Do
you do what I say, or do you do what you want? Do you obey my commandments, or
do go with your own hearts desire, believing what another man tells you? Do you
seek my will? Have you ever tried to seek my will? Can you even say what is my
will?
I see you out there. You are totally fixated on my return, eagerly
awaiting and expecting my deliverance, yet all the while never caring to listen to my
will. All your anxiousness will come to not when the wake up call goes out, and
you realize everything you have been working for, every thought in your mind
was only for yourself and your own redemption, preservation and comfort, here
on earth and forever after.
It can be said no clearer than in these verses, yet you believe the lie
from the wolves in sheep’s clothing that twist many scriptures, making a simple
thing an enormous explanation to get around the simple truth of these few
words.
John
14:15 If ye
love me, keep my commandments.
Revelation 14:12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep
the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
My commandments
are my Father’s commandments. I came only to repeat his words. I am His Word. I
am not my own word. I have not changed His Word.
John 5:19 Then answered
Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The
Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things
soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.
Are you waiting for the rapture and yet are not one of these saints?
Why do you so eagerly await my return when you forsake my commandments? There
is no point you trying to save others if you will not be saved; no point
telling people to get ready when you are not ready. Can you help someone into a lifeboat from the water? You must first get in
yourself and then you can pull them in. You had better save yourself first, or
you are no good to anyone, and you cannot carry my message of salvation.
I hear Christians saying repent
and be saved. Exactly what are you willing to repent from? Confess Jesus is
Lord and then refuse to obey? This empty lip service is worth nothing. I am not
Lord in your life when you do not keep my commandments. You have been told the
lie that to obey the commandments is to try to earn own salvation. Salvation is
a free gift, but you must accept the savior. You could never earn the right to
follow me, but follow me you must if you want to be where I am, and go where I
go. You accept me and you belong to me when you follow me, obeying my
commandments, doing what I do, as I obey the Father.
Romans 6:23 For the wages
of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life.
What
is sin? Sin is not keeping the Father’s commandments. What else is there? Are
you willing, or are you going to make excuses?
