There is nothing new under the sun. Satan is the same as he always was with the same tricks. And his tricks still work on Christians today just as they did with the Israelites in the bible times. Christians today are under the false illusion that they somehow are better than the Jews were. Jesus words are ignored because Christians think those words are not for them, because the accusations toward God’s people of that day do not apply to Christians today.
Christians think they are better because they do not reject the Messiah. They accept the blood of Jesus as atonement for sin, thinking this is all there is to salvation. This is the false teaching of the “Age of Grace”.
Matthew 24:13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
Notice in the book of Romans that Paul exhorts Gentiles not to be high-minded against the Israelites for their transgressions, and the consequences of that behavior.
Romans 11 11 I say then, Have they stumbled that they should fall? God forbid: but rather through their fall salvation is come unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousy. 17 And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert grafted in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree; 18 Boast not against the branches. But if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee. 19 Thou wilt say then, The branches were broken off, that I might be grafted in. 20 Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear: 21 For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee. 22 Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.
Acts 7 48Howbeit the most High dwelleth not in temples made with hands; as saith the prophet, 49Heaven is my throne, and earth is my footstool: what house will ye build me? saith the Lord: or what is the place of my rest? 50Hath not my hand made all these things? 51 Ye stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the Holy Ghost: as your fathers did, so do ye
Just because a thing is popular belief in Christianity; just because all your bible schools and preachers teach this; just because this is what you have thought as truth all your life, does not make it correct. The only true judge is God.
Romans 3:4 God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.
Religious people leaning unto your own understanding are clinging desperately to false doctrine just because it has been accepted by the church for generations. You are a stiff-necked people, no different than the Israelites. You refuse to see the truth when it is spelled out plainly in front of you because it goes against what you think you know. You are brainwashed by your own pride and cannot see a clear truth when it stands before you. You will not repent because you would have to admit you were wrong, and you are incapable of doing that.
Drop your silly previously held notions. Do not come to me full of yourself, and your church-taught knowledge. Come to me as a little child, or I will turn my face from you. Consider this a prophesy from Yahweh, the most high God.
Stop listening to everything the man behind the pulpit is saying without reservation. You have more respect for that man working for money than you do the true gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. And that makes him an idol before your God. You don’t check it against the Holy Spirit because you don’t know the Holy Spirit. In your pride, you think you do, but you are following your own heart and not the Spirit of God. You are checking it, at best against your understanding of your bible. When it comes to your bible and the Holy Spirit, do not grieve the Holy Spirit by choosing your bible, or your understanding of it. I will have the last word, thus sayeth the Lord!
Ephesians 4:30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
Matthew 12:32 And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in theworldto come.
2 Corinthians 12:21 Andlest, when I come again, my God will humble me among you, and that I shall bewail many which have sinned already, and have not repented of the uncleanness and fornication and lasciviousness which they have committed.
Matthew 7 22Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. 24Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:
2 Timothy 3 5Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. 6For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, 7Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
Even if you are a charismatic and believe yourself not of “denying the power”, don’t fool yourself. If you are leaning unto the understanding of other men, or previously held doctrine, instead of the Holy Spirit directly, then you should be convicted here.
