Does Christianity Equal Salvation? David Field August 23, 2011
They come to your door trained with a practiced message from a group that sells the evangelizing plan to local churches, complete with tracts. The message that is being sold is, "Because you are a sinner, you will go to hell, so you need a savior". This message is totally an appeal to self-survival.
While this message may help to fill the pews, it will not get anyone into the presence of Yah. Yah is not looking for those looking for a fire escape. He is looking for those wanting to love and be with him. Listen, "self" is the message of Satan, not Yah. I surrender to Yah because he owns me, no other reason. He made us, gave us a free will to accept him or sin, and then sent his son to buy us back from sin, if we wish to return to him. What he does with me in the end will be up to him. I am not concerned with going to heaven if that is the reward. I deserve no reward. Whatever the reward will be more than fair. Are you willing to surrender everything to him no matter what, even if it means giving up Christianity? Christianity does not equal salvation.
